2013 Toyota Noah Features

The Toyota Noah is a 7 or 8 seater van with sliding doors on both sides. There is a 5 seater option available but it’s not common in the Kenyan market. The 2013 Toyota Noah falls in the second generation that was in production from 2007 to 2013. In the Toyota classification tree, the Toyota Noah is in a class above the Toyota Sienta and below the Toyota Alphard. It competes locally with the Toyota Voxy, Nissan Serena, Honda Stepwagon, Mitsubishi Delica and Mazda Biante.

The first generation Noah was plagued by technical issues that were attributed to the 1AZ engine. These issues were addressed in the second generation by the replacement of the 1AZ with the 3ZR engine. The Toyota Noah and Voxy were the first Toyotas to receive the Valvematic engines back in 2007. The 2013 Toyota Noah is only available with an automatic CVT transmission and comes in both 2WD and 4WD options. There is only one engine available with the 2013 Toyota Noah and that is the 2.0L 3ZR.

Engine Specs
The 2013 Toyota Allion T260 is available with 3 engine variants: The 1.5Litre 1NZ engine, the 1.8Litre 2ZR engine and the 2.0Litre 3ZR engine. All are mated to an automatic CVT transmission. The Allion is available in 2WD and 4WD options. The 4WD option only comes with the 1.8L engine.

The 2013 Toyota Crown is offered with 3 engine options: a 2.5 Litre 4GR-FSE V6 petrol engine, a 2.5L THS II petrol Hybrid and a 3.5 Litre 2GR-FSE V6 petrol. These are linked to either a 6-speed Super ECT or an 8-speed Super ECT and available in both 2WD and 4WD. The 4WD options are denoted by i-Four.

The 2013 model comes with 2 engine options, these are the 1.5 Litre 1NZ-FE engine and the 1.8 Litre 2ZR-FAE engine. These are linked to either a 6-speed Manual Transmission or a Super CVT-i Transmission and available in both 2WD and 4WD.

The first generation Probox known as the NCP50 was in production from 2002 to 2014. The second generation Probox known as the NCP150 has been in production from 2014 to present. The Toyota Probox is available with 2 engine options, these are the 1.3Litre 2NZ engine and the 1.5Litre 1NZ engine, mated to either a 4 speed automatic or 5 speed manual transmission. The first generation Passo known as the M300 was in production from 2004 to 2010. The second generation known as the M600 was in production from 2010 to 2016 and the third generation known as the M700 has been in production from 2016 to Present. In the Kenyan market, the Toyota Passo competes with the Mazda Verisa, Nissan March and Suzuki Swift.

The 2013 Toyota Passo is offered with two engine options. These are the 1.0 Litre 1KR-FE engine and the 1.3 Litre 1NR-FE engine. These are linked to either a CVT or a manual transmission and available in both 2WD and 4WD.

  1. Toyota Passo 1.0X V Package – This is a very basic grade that comes with the 1.0 Litre engine, Key start, manual AC, No Radio or CD Player, Manual Mirrors, and 13-Inch steel rims without covers.
  2. Toyota Passo 1.0X  – This is similar to the V Package but with Radio/CD Player and 13-Inch steel rims with plastic covers, and electric mirror.

The the first generation known as the T240 was in production from 2001 to 2007 and the second generation known as T270 has been in production from 2007 to Present. The Toyota Premio is sold exclusively in Japanese market.

2013 Toyota HiAce Features

Similar to the Land Cruiser pickup, the HiAce has undergone fewer iterations and has stuck to its winning formula. The current generation known as the H200 has been in production from 2004 and is radically different from previous generations. It features changes such as a bigger body, larger windows and a gear knob on the dashboard.

The 2013 Toyota HiAce is offered with 3 engine options. These are; the 2.0L 1TR-FE petrol engine, the 2.7L 2TR-FE Petrol engine and the 3.0L 1KD-FTV turbo diesel engine. These are linked to either a 4-speed automatic transmission or a 5-speed manual transmission and available in both 2WD and 4WD

  1. Toyota HiAce DX – This is the base grade that is offered in two versions, the HiAce Van for cargo transport and the Commuter Wagon for passenger transport. It comes with vinyl seats, plastic carpet and steel rims.
